Winchester Model 65 (ref # 0405)
~~~SOLD~~~<br>Winchester Model 65 (ref # 0405)
SOLD
A Model 65 Winchester in the much sought after .218 Bee caliber. This model gun was produced for only 13 years and this one with serial number 1,089,453 was made after 1941 and before 1947. The gun is in very good to excellent condition with extensive original bluing on all metal parts, with over 95+% cover remaining on the receiver. The only bluing wear is on the receiver bottom where the gun was carried. There is excellent wood throughout with only a few minor dents on the stock and forearm. The original Winchester metal butt plate with a top triangle fits perfectly to the stock. Most of the original finish on this pistol grip stock still remains with only minor handling marks. All wood fits tightly to metal parts and no cracks present. The magazine on this gun holds 7 cartridges. While there is no bolt peep sight, the gun has been professionally tapped for a scope. The rifle presently has King sights on front and rear dovetails, with a double-ladder elevator still present on rear sight. Here is the much sought after and rare .218 Bee Winchester Model 65 at a reasonable price.
