Winchester 1892
Saddle Ring Carbine by New Consignment Rifle--- This rifle is in "very good" condition. It is all original...nothing has been altered. This 1892 Winchester Carbine is chambered in the rare 25-20. The action is very smooth and tight. The bore is excellent. This rifle was carried in a scabbard on horseback for several years. The bluing is worn on both sides of the receiver and along both sides of the barrel and magazine. There is a gouge on the lower left side of the stock...otherwise the stock and forearm are in very good condition, with original finish.
The serial number on this piece is 937,240, placing the production date at 1924.
The gun was purchased new in North Dakota or Montana and is still in the family of the original purchaser.
This rifle would be a fine addition to any Winchester Collection.
