True gallery gun with restraint chain/spring still attached to barrel. Gun is chambered for shorts only and has the triangular loading port in the magazine tube. Serial numbers (441440)match on receiver and tang, placing this gun in the final year of 62A production (1958). Bluing over 95% on receiver, 85% on the barrel and magazine. Metal on the upper and lower tang is worn, as is the area on the barrel where the forearm pump slides. Specks of rust on the barrel and bluing worn where chain-restraint is attached. All wood in excellent original condition as is the Winchester butt plate. This is a really nice collectable Winchester in the rare gallery version, that was really used in the old shooting galleries.
