A very nice representative Winchester Model 60A. This bolt-action .22 rifle shoots short, long, or long-rifle bullets. Good wood with some handling marks on the stock and a B carved into pistol grip wood. Black plastic butt plate worn, but original with Winchester logo still visible The metal has over 90% bluing remaining. Bolt still has much of the original chrome finish remaining and can be cocked by hand to shoot. Internal mechanisms all work well and bore in Excellent condition, bright and shiny with rifling prominent. This is a very nice starter Winchester rifle for the youngster, at a reasonable price.
