A well preserved very early Model 62 Winchester pump 22 rifle. The gun has serial number #56462 indicating production in 1937. The gun retains the smaller (which is correct) early forearm pump with the wood in excellent condition. The stock still has original finish with one dent and a small scratch on the upper left side. Butt plate is original Winchester issue and still in very good condition. Gun is mechanically sound and all parts in working order. Bore in excellent condition being bright and shiny with rifling highly visible. All metal in very good condition with bluing and brown patina mixed over gun. On the barrel cover is well over 90%, magazine over 80% and receiver over 90%. Upper tang can receive a tang sight. A very nice collectable early pre-war Winchester made in the 6th year of Model 62 production.
