Winchester Third Model 1890 in the less common WRF. Serial number on the gun is 368820 indicating production in early May of 1908, making this one of the first guns of the Third Model series. Gun is in very good condition with >75% bluing on the barrel and magazine, with less on the receiver. Some of the metal looks to be touched up over some very small old pits on the barrel and more common near the front sight. Wood on forearm and stock sound with only a few minor dings. Original Winchester front and rear sights. All internal mechanisms in good condition. Bore has rifling but there is some wear and minor pitting -the gun will still shoot accurately. Gun has original metal curved Winchester-issued buttplate that still has some bluing.
