REDUCED $500 - Winchester 1892 Sporting rifle in the hard-to-find 38-40 caliber in outstanding condition. This rifle was made in 1911 and has a serial number of 621656. All original with bluing over 90% on all barrel and magazine metal. Receiver with less cover and screww heads all in excellent condition. All internal parts function and trigger spring in still tight. Bore is in excellent condition, bright and shiny with rifling clearly visible and prominent. Wood tight fitting to all metal parts with some handling marks. There is one scratch on the right-rear side of the stock and two dents on the left side of the forearm. All wood appears to have original finish. All original parts and the rifle functions flawlessly, lever cocks crisply and bolt fits tight into receiver. Original issued Winchester sights with screw on front and elevator still on rear buckhorn sight. Correct metal crescent butt plate. A true Winchester-Collector quality gun.
