Wood pistol grips without a mark and checkering still crisp. The original clip, labeled CAL.22 COLT, still even has bluing on the bottom. Serial number is 85172 and this pistol is a true transition between the pre-Woodsman and Woodsman. This pistol has the oval checkering on the mainspring housing indicating this earlier version, along with a barrel style being a middle weight barrel type. This is truly a Collector Quality gun, as this early version is rarely found anymore in this type of condition.
