REDUCED from #1250 to $1100, well below Blue-Book value!!--A very nice Colt 1892 New Army and Navy revolver, Military Model in excellent condition. Original bluing covers 95%+ of metal parts, with only wear on the barrel end from inserting in a holster and slight wear on the front of the lower receiver. This 38 caliber gun has the correct double bolt stop notches and a double cylinder locking bolt. Lettering is still crisp on barrel and patent dates correct (1884 and 1888). The receiver and cylinder are in outstanding condition showing minimal wear. The Colt logo of the rearing horse is still crisp and highly visible on the left receiver side. Of the 291,000 of these guns made between 1892 and 1907, the serial number of 218987 on this gun indicates production near the turn of the Century (1903). Bore is shiny and beautiful while original plain walnut wood grips are slightly worn, but without any major handling marks and in very good condition. This .38 caliber Colt pistol is of a true Collector Quality.
