Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine that was manufactured in 1907 (Serial number 381024). Chambered for the .30 WCF, the bore rates between good to very good with strong rifling, but fine pitting in the grooves. The metal on this saddle ring carbine rates about 80% overall, with the usual handling and carry wear on the receiver, as well as some finish loss along the top of the barrel from a very old reblue. There is a small patch of very fine pitting visible on the right-side, bottom corner of the receiver. The front and rear sights are period manufacture by Marbles. The rear sight ladder is still present and the front post is a 94-C, together making a very nice sight picture for this gun. The rear stock is in excellent shape overall with a minimum of handling wear and no cracks. The buttstock had a sling swivel hole filled on the underside and the barrel band has a matching hole on the bottom. The mechanics are all in good working order.
