~~~SALE PENDING~~~ This is a very nice Winchester Model 61 pump rifle with a 24 inch barrel. It is a take-down gun, with the much sought-after grooved receiver. The rifle was made in 1957 and has matching serial numbers of 225654. This pump-action rifle is chambered for 22 short, long, and long rifle rounds. It has an excellent bore. Metal finish is all original and rates about 90% on the receiver, with some thinning on the underside from being carried. Finish on the barrel rates about 85%, with some freckling at the muzzle, while the magazine still has over 95% original bluing. The wood is in good shape, showing typical scratches and handling marks, and a small dent next to the take-down screw. No cracks in the wood and all unions tight to metal parts. Original metal buttplate still has bluing. Action is tight and all internal parts work on this pump .22 rifle. Curio & Relic license is acceptable for this gun.
