A very nice Winchester Model 1890, chambered in 22 WRF. Serial number of gun is 587108 indicating production in 1919. The strength of this gun is that the bore is in EXCELLENT condition still shiny and with rifling--lans clean and rifling sharp and nice, which is unusual for the WRF. The metal barrel finish has some minor freckling, along with minor pits at the barrel tip, but bluing still remains around 90% on the barrel metal. The magazine tube retains the same amount of cover but having turned to a soft brown patina. The receiver finish has some wear but good condition. All internal parts in working order. The forend has a very small glued crack running through the front right portion. The stock has normal dings and handling marks on it, but in good condition for its age and tight to the metal. Hard to find a WRF with a bore as good as the one in this gun!
