Winchester 1894 from production in the 1940s, known as the 'lost years' of the 1894 series as the Winchester Company lost production records. This is a 30-30 carbine that has seen some use but is still a solid rifle, used but not abused. The bore is immaculate on this gun, bright and shiny with rifling prominent. The rifle has the correct issue Winchester sights and checkered metal butt plate. The metal has over 90% bluing left on the barrel and magazine, while the receiver is showing wear on the bottom from being carried in the field. The wood is solid but does have handling marks and one area on toe of butt stock that has been professionally repaired. This gun would make an excellent hunting rifle, while still retaining Collector value.
