REDUCED $100 - A pre-64 Model 70 in the less common 300 Magnum (later in production to be come known as the 300 H&H). Serial number of 121439 places production of this rifle in 1949, and bolt number matches. This rifle has had some hunting use, but has been well taken care of. Bluing is starting to wear on barrel muzzle and on receiver top, but metal all in very good condition. Wood also worn, but no cracks. Sling swivels still on this rifle. Rear sight blank but front sight still has post and hood. It looks like this rifle at one time had a scope and lyman peep sight. White Line Pachmayr rubber butt pad with LOP 11 3/4 inches. Bore is very good on this rifle, bright and shiny with rifling clearly evident. A nice shooting pre-64 Model 70 in a rare magnum caliber.
