This Winchester Model 1894 is the rare .32 Winchester Special caliber. A Serial Number of 1,603,636 puts the manufacture date in late 1949. Barrel length is 20", the bore bright and shiny. The magazine tube is full length and overall the rifle is in excellent condition. The wood finish is very good with no cracks or major dings, and the stock-wood is a fancy Grade 'X' of walnut with moderate burling. Metal bluing is all original and retains over 85% cover, with the only thinning where the rifle was carried under the receiver. Sling swivels are present on the front carbine ring and on the rear stock. The metal checkered butt plate shows some minor wear on one edge. Overall, a very nice Winchester 1894 lever carbine.
