Model 61 in wonderful condition. This rifle was made pre-war in early 1940, and has a serial number of 57083. Metal with almost complete bluing cover, with only wear on the magazine, slide and lower receiver from when the rifle was carried. All lettering crisp on the metal barrel, serial number, and receiver with small scratches on the receiver side. Wood in very good condition and has only handling marks. All wood tight to metal parts. Bore is very good on this rifle, bright and shiny. This is one of the better conditioned pre-war Model 61 rifles that have come through the shop in some time.
