~~~SOLD~~~An outstanding pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in the rare .243 caliber. A serial number of 512773 matches on bolt and receiver, placing production in early 1961. Not many guns around today for the serious Collector in this type of condition. Metal with over 99% bluing with the only wear on the bolt handle tip. Wood all excellent with original finish and only several small handling marks. Bore is pristine, bright and shiney with rifling prominent. Gun is a very collectable pre-64 Winchester Model 70 rifle and and comes with sling swivels.
