The Yellow-billed Cuckoo is an endangered species of bird found in wild riparian areas in the southwest deserts.

This illustration appears in the 4th edtion of the The Colorado Plateau, a book published by the University of Arizona Press about research in the southwest.

The artist is Kim van Riper, a professional artist based in Tempe AZ and graduate of the ASU Fine Art School. The original comes with a certificate of authenticity and the laser prints are hand-signed by the artist.
