Winchester 1890 SHORT (Ref # 1680)

A Winchester 1890 Second Model in 22 SHORT. Gun is between Very Good and Excellent condition. The serial number of 146587 is found only on the lower tang which is correct for the early blued versions of the 2nd Model. Production date of this rifle was in mid-1902. Bluing still covers well over 90 percent of metal mixed with patina and the only wear is on octagon barrel edges, muzzle and lower receiver. Wood all in very good condition. Bore is also very good on this rifle, still with strong rifling and clean lands. This is a very collectable 2nd Model 1890 rifle.
