These are the hard-to-find Early Second Model 1890 receiver groups. Each is composed of a receiver and metal trigger guard. These were case hardened and serial numbered from ~ 15500 through ~ 113000, and only on the tang. The receiver has no serial number. Condition of cover on the metal varies among these receiver groups. There is an option provided for slow-rust bluing for the receiver if you choose.
