1890 Third Model Receiver Group Blued
1890 Third Model Receiver Group Blued
These are complete Third Model 1890 receiver groups. Each is composed of a metal receiver and matching trigger guard. This group of 1890 rifles were serial numbered from ~325250 up to ~853000 and both pieces (receiver and trigger guard) had matching serial numbers. The Third Model receivers were originally blued, and condition of cover on the metal varies. There is an option provided for slow-rust bluing for the receiver you choose. These receiver groups are listed by serial number, so you get to choose the one you like best. Here is the foundation for a very nice 1890 restoration project. There are also 1890 restoration manuals for sale on the web site, at the address: http://homesteadparts.com/shopcart/pid_952.htm These Receivers require shipping to someone who holds a FFL so they can conduct a background check.
