A Winchester Model 72 in the very rare SHORT only caliber, a Gallery Version. This gun has been well used, but bore is still excellent, bright and shiny. The receiver has been tapped for a scope and Marbles rear sight on the rifle with original Winchester front post sight. Bolt still works and full-length tubular magazine feeds properly. Wood solid but does have a crack underneath. A very reasonably priced gun, as gallery versions are Blue-booked 100 percent above normal value.
